NOTES:

This is my first skin ever for anything, and I think I did a pretty good job on it. I'm not an artist by trade, so the fact that I made this skin and it didn't look like _complete_ crap is astounding. Props go out to reidman (reidman@starmen.net) for making the kickin' background, without that I would have never been able to finish the skin. To the best of my knowledge, this is the first video-game themed skin made for aston, so why not make it for the best game ever, EarthBound?

If you were wondering, Starmen.net is the biggest site for that game. With over 1200 forum users, 6 contests, a dedicated staff (which I'm a part of,) and a thriving community, starmen.net is the best site you can go to get information on earthbound, earthbound zero and the now-dead earthbound 64. P.S. SLings Secret Screenshots rules! ^_^

Special thanks go out to:
reidman, for his awesome, jaw-dropping background,
Gladiators for making the best freaking shell ever,
Jamie_M, Aquas, Saotome_Ranma and Ness151 for putting up with my beta skins,
The starmen.net fan forum for giving me constructive criticism.

Instructions on extraction:
Extract to C:\aston\themes\The Starmen, extract with full paths using WinZip, WinAce or WinRAR.

Other Notes:

This skin was tested and created for the most part on a Pentium 133 with 16 megs of ram using Windows 98 Second Edition, and it ran with good speed. Frankly, this is aston, so I wouldn't expect anything less :P. Images were all created on a Pentium 3/450 with 192 megs of ram using Adobe Photoshop 6. Why use two computers? A) The 133 is my computer, and the only computer in the house that goes above 800X600, B) My mom won't let me install aston on the 450 since it's her computer :(. I guess she doesn't know the joys of Aston :D

You also may have to add the font Ast126 to your fonts folder, I don't know how aston works so I don't know if the font comes installed or not. It's included in the /Font/ folder in the zip.

FINAL NOTE:

This skin started after I got fed up with there being no good videogame skins out there. I was using the theme 'Digital Control' (the best aston skin ever,) so I saved it in the theme wizard as a new theme and modified it there. If there are any leftovers from Digital Control, I sincerely apologize in advance. I changed all the system colors and skinning elements, but there may be some leftover things (Skins for Plugins, System Icons) that I may have missed. I don't think I missed anything though.
